An old sketch of Bilbo and the Dragon Smaug. I always wanted to apply a much more whimsical, playful quality to this painting. The heat from Smaug would be so great that the gold would pour from him in small rivers.
The Hobbit would make a great animated series. Something to reintroduce it to a younger audience.
